About the Parish Pump

The Parish Pump is published monthly towards the end of every month except December.  It is all written and worked on by volunteers although printing costs have to be covered, therefore we encourage local advertising and you will find the rates in each edition which are very reasonably priced.  The newsletter is fairly far reaching and covers Denston, Hawkedon, Poslingford, Stansfield, Stradishall, Assington Green, Clare, Cowlinge, Thurston End and Wickhambrook.

Details of local events are included in the newsletter and we are always keen to find out about events which may appeal to the local residents.  Details of local services are included too. There are also regular contributors.

At the moment, there is a pull out supplement each month giving information about help that is available in these stretched economic times, including information about food banks and how to manage debt.

The editor is Peter Thompson.  If you wish to submit an article for the newsletter or know of any local events which might be of interest, please email parish.pump@gmail.com
